The Spanish Lotteries Administration Agency (LAE) and the Mexican National Lottery (Lotenal) recently signed a collaboration agreement to carry out joint draws to attract players from both countries.
The agreement, signed by the president of LAE, Gonzalo Fernández, and the general manager of Lotenal, Benjamín González Roaro, establishes that joint studies will be carried out to commercialise and execute (in accordance with the legal frameworks of each country) joint draws.
According to the news agency Notimex, the agreement was signed during the Congress of the Iberoamerican Corporation of State Lotteries and Gaming which was held in Santiago, Chile.
As the agreement was signed, the president of LAE acknowledged the history and journey of Lotenal over 239 years and offered to support the Mexican institution with new technologies currently in use in Spain, reports the Mexican news agency.
