First, each player has to make three bets: one for the “Pair plus” game, one for the “Ante” and one for the “Play”. Once everyone makes their bets, each player, as well as the dealer, receives a three card hand.
After everyone looks at their hand, they have to decide whether to continue with the hand or surrender it before the play begins. If you surrender your hand, you lose your ante. If you want to continue, you have to make a small additional bet.
After everyone has made their decision, the dealer flips over his hand. For the round to qualify, the dealer’s hand must have a queen or higher value. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, the round is over and everyone’s ante is paid back as winnings. If the dealer’s hand does qualify, play continues.

The object of the game is to get a higher ranked hand than the dealer. If your hand beats theirs, you win. If your hands tie, which is rarely the case, you still win.
The pair plus section of this game is basically a bonus. If your hand contains any pair, regardless if the dealer’s hand qualifies or beats you, you receive a payout based on pre-determined odds.
